Award-winning director, producer, and cinematographer, Rowan created Lucky Dragon Productions to tell compelling, personal stories. He has an innate ability to find the truth and the narrative in everything we produce, whether it’s a documentary, a feature film, or a multi-channel launch for the next startup here in Silicon Valley.
Trevor Dudeck is Executive Producer and Partner at Lucky Dragon. His ability to fuse a passion for production and a profound understanding of how to distribute and market the completed works of our clients has resulted in a wide range of work spanning multiple genres. This is made evident by a trusted network of filmmakers and strategic partners who are always ready to join us for the next adventure.
Nora started working for Lucky Dragon with an emphasis on marketing and communications but quickly pivoted to become a full-time producer/director. In 2016 she co-produced and directed “She Started It”, the groundbreaking documentary on women in tech which Inc. called “one of the five must-watch movies for entrepreneurs in 2017”. The film shows the dreams, and the obstacles, young girls have in becoming engineers, and spotlights five female CEOs making their mark on a male-dominated industry. Alex is a copywriter with an emphasis on script writing. He's written scripts for commercials, industrials, and ESL training videos. He does good dialogue. He does good funny. He's also an actor with an emphasis on pretending to be other people.
Long time Bay Area Editor, Paul T. Layland joins us as lead editor. His competencies are vast but he sets the perfect tempo for whatever the project calls for. Rowan and Paul have been collaborating on projects for over six years, cultivating a shorthand in the director and editor relationship, which many will argue is the foundation of a great post-production process. Paul adds to this his immaculate organizational skillset, familiarity with 2D and 3D visual effects integration, and an ability to manage timelines both realistic and unrealistic!
